Need help living room dilemma
I have painted the accent wall a dark olive color. I'm not sure if I need to paint the rest of the living room or just leave it as it is. The current color is a beige color. I am wanting to go with a contemporary feel. I am also looking for suggestions on what color should my curtains be? Thanks in advance""

Sharnay Staley U think so? When the outside light hits it u can see the green. Since the accent wall is dark should i go with a lighter curtain?

mdamron61 Yes. It is so dark the flat screen looks almost lost in the background color. Light curtains diffenately.

Deborah Vanderzel Designs check out etsy website, there are many drapes to choose from. A wonderful ikat pattern perhaps on a cream background. this room needs pops of color....so start looking and be inspired

conniedial I like the dark accent wall! Be brave! Curtains...maybe a light creme with some dark design running through in some way? I painted a deep brown ( with a slight smokey green undertone) accent wall and LOVE it..it actually is the wall where my flat screen TV/fireplace are placed..makes watching the TV more enjoyable not having to fight a lot of light around it...and the fireplace surround POPS ..the mantle blends well with it too.
