Cheap Headboard ideas for this bedroom? Maybe DIY?
My room is definitly, "missing something". It's a small downtown condo, so I want to keep clean simple lines, but I also love cottage, country, and shabby chic accents. I fnd the rooms feels too cold, it needs some life!

I'll be replacing the shelf with a side table (that I'll varnish dark grey to match the bed) and a simple lamp.

The colours are mint/seafoam, pink, off white, and grey. I may add accents of neutral beige, and coral, as well.

Any ideas for a CHEAP headboard to bring the bed space together?

I found awhite wicker headboard on craigslist of $50, I could use as is or paint, maybe grey, or silver, or pink or.... ???

Or I thought of just building one in planks and varnishing them dark grey, same as the furniture.

Or any other ideas?

kargus Upholster the wicker headboard, layer it with foam, then a reasonable fabric, staple gun works well
