Living room color help!

These are the pieces I'm pretty set on (I work at La-Z-Boy)

But I'm hesitant about the colors. I love the turquoise/aqua fabric for ONE of the pieces, but I don't know if I should do the sofa or the chair. I actually kind of like it more on the sofa... but I'm afraid to jump in with such a trendy color for a piece I'll be keeping for years.

Also, I have black and white curtains that I love and want to keep, and orange walls that came with the apartment that I've grown to like... And would also like to incorporate some other multi-color elements...

I currently have this rug

But it's seen better days, and I would like to replace it with a plush rug with similar colors... which i am having trouble finding.

Working at La-Z-Boy, I have access to rugs from surya, dalyn, and loloi, but havent found anything I'm in love with yet...

Also, I will definitely need throw pillows to tie everything together, any suggestions for colors or patterns?

Any suggestions overall?
