Placement of Corbels on new fireplace mantel
We just finished the mantel for our new fireplace and thought I would get idea's on the placement of the corbels. I think they should be a bout 7 inches in from the outside. In the picture the mantel is just sitting on two 4X4 to hold it up to get placement. Once the mantel and corbels are bolted in we will be putting rock on the front and the hearth.
