Vertical or Horizontal backsplash
New counter tops just went in. Backsplash went up horizontal. Installers did a terrible job. Had to be torn down. Do I stick with horizontal? Or go vertical?

Vertical (I just taped it up, so it's not the real deal)
Horizontal

dino106234 Vertical looks very contemporary. Unless that's what you're looking for I would stick with the horizontal.

Kevin Wild - IBB Designer Horizontal is always the way to go, it makes your kitchen feel much wider. A bigger kitchen is a better feel!

dsharp2 I like the vertical because it is different than what you usually see.

Terri Williams I think the horizontal widens the space without drawing so much attention that it's ALL you see.

Lkristine Horizontal for sure, sorry you had a terrible experience.

Dezign Studio Inc Horizontal would be better.

Natalie Hi---horizontal if your wall color remains the same. If you paint your walls darker than the current color-install the backsplash vertically... CheerS!
