How much lighting does one need for a bathroom vanity that is 79" wide?
Is there a rule of thumb for bathroom lighting? This is a "before" with only one sink but am remodeling to 2 sinks/faucets & 2 mirrors. I could do 3 sconces on mirror wall or could do 2 on side walls facing inward. Any thoughts?

danielreeder I prefer lights on top of mirror, shining downward

flgrandma If you like sconces, I put up three on the same wall as the mirrors.

pattylights Don't expect one thing to do it all- very decorative to have the
3 wall sconces, but better, if you add in recess lighting overhead as well. Go for layers of light, individually controlled with dimmers.
