How can I make this gate / front porch looks better?
I thought I make the fence higher and gates bigger.

rinqreation Only make the wall higher, no more than a foot. And repaint it,a grey like the windows on the metal parts, wall a in white. Or the other way around.

hermajestyshnaz would the metal parts on the window look nicer in black instead of grey?

ASVInteriors I agree with rinqreation that only the pillar should be higher. If you want to paint it grey, it will make it less visible and you will highlight what you see through it (ie the car and carport). If you paint it a strong colour, for example a red then visually you will see that instead of the car. Is that stretched cable between the gates or are those solid metal posts?

Diamondflame The blank pillar/post could do with some treatment. Perhaps some modern designs in bas-relief or piled slatework? With a modestly uplit tree on the left and the pimped up pillar, no one will even notice the gates. Would you consider extending the bottom window down a full length to level with the water feature? I also would like to see this same space at night.
