Spring Cleaning
Just like the end of the school year, spring cleaning comes around just when you're not ready for it. Does anyone have any special tips/tricks they'd like to share? Not including vinegar which never works for me? And is there an app for spring cleaning?

olldbobbi Judy, no, it's still winter but our weather changes quickly. Last week we were in the 80's this week won't go above 50. So I thought I'd get it done while it's cool outside.

ASV, good idea!

Carolina Photo To Go LLC I love Hoover products B/c they are thorough and last. I have a floormate for hard surfaces and it must be 14 yrs old and a Steam cleaner for carpets so we can do them as often as we want.

I try to stay away from sprays as much as possible b/c they can be hard on lungs and wear a mask if fumes are involved and open windows. I do like vinegar and water for windows. Fast to scrub windows and mirrors and fast to squeegee off. Just wipe squeegee with towel in between strokes.

I also use dusters for the initial dusting of surfaces. Great for uneven surfaces. Best ones come from Auto supply stores. Resolve is great for small spots on carpet.

pheebers http://www.thecleanteam.com/

I've used their cleaners for many years, especially the red juice and blue juice. I have acute asthma and I have NO reaction to them at all. They're also safe in the kitchen and just clean very, very well!

They also have paperbacks which are really well done (although they may be dated, the ones I have are about 10-15 years old) and detail the most efficient way to clean. My favorite is Speed Cleaning, but Spring Cleaning is also very good. I'm a compulsive organizer and I had a few ah-ha moments where I was able to improve what I was doing....

Boy, I sound like a commercial. No affiliation, I swear :)

Olde Wood Ltd. A favorite in our house is any Lemon Verbena cleaner from Mrs. Meyers Clean Day. The products do a fantastic job and leave your home smelling so fresh and clean! Good luck with Spring cleaning, don't try to tackle it all at once, you'll overwhelm yourself.

Olde Wood, another product I haven't tried! Love fresh and clean scents, I will look into this! Thanks!
