Need help with window treatments
In the attached photo, you can see we have an entire bank of windows and an exterior door on one end of our kitchen.
We'd like to dress these windows up a bit with simple panels, but we don't know where the panels should go. From left to right in the photos, you can see we have the exterior door, a bank of three windows and then two smaller windows, one of which wraps around to the adjacent wall.
Where and how do we hang the panels??

And line them up.
I don't see why you cannot do panels to soften the windows..especially if they are not to close, although you could do that too. You will have to accept that they will be stacking over some of the glass..ie in the corner that I mentioned, a pair of panels could be stacked there and then another panel on the other end of the bank of windows.
For the wall with the door the rod would end before the door, and you could do pairs of panels on that wall and have them stack where the windows start and end. I get the impression on the red wall there are at least 2 such windows. You could do one continuous spliced rod there. Try and keep the rods continuous.
I would suggest you get a window treatment specialist to specify and install the rods, then get ready made panels if you wish.
