Need help with living room furniture
I have a small living room so I was thinking a sofa and love seat would be too cramped. What are your thoughts about this cream leather sofa and possibly me finding two fabric chairs instead? (the living room in pic is not mine)
Is mixing a leather sofa and fabric chairs a good mix?

mandek If you like this room I would buy all leather or all fabric in the same color. I like to mix texture and love leathers durable qualities. Where you sit and what you do counts fabric for cozy, leather for sleek.

olldroo Query: Why would you not have all leather or all fabric?? Personally I wouldn't have a problem with mixing them provided the fabrics are distinctive and your colour scheme ties everything together. Don't forget decorating is all about what you like - you don't decorate to please others. If your room is small, try to keep the scale of the lounge and chairs down to so they don't visually swamp the room.

groveraxle The cream leather sofa is beautiful and yes, you can mix it with fabric. In fact, leather can mix with just about anything. Here they've mixed it with wicker. don't be afraid.

kro9o Yes, leather and fabric mix fine. Too much leather looks like an office waiting room. Fabric warms up the room and will be a nice combo. Get two chairs with the same fabric. And since the couch is so neutral you can do a pattern.
