What do you think of this bedroom?
Too much stuff? What should I do differently? Suggestions?

wstdspace I've had it this way forever. Looking for a change.

cyn222 Don't think you need the mirror. I'd also move the tall cabinet to another wall if possible. Chest looks odd with such large footboard.Other than that, love the colors and rest of the room. Just my opinion. Hope it helps some.

wstdspace Thank you! Great ideas. I just seem to accumulate way too much stuff!

cjohnston It's a nice room and I love all the windows! I can understand wanting to update a bit. Are there things about this room that you like/want to keep? Do you want to change the color scheme or work w/the current colors? Just a couple questions to help w/the responses.

wstdspace Chest is getting moved! Lol i guess I like the color scheme although you may find it a bit odd. Red, orange, brown, cream, and what I would call mushroom. Curtains, some of the pillows and the side chair are Pier 1 so would like to keep them. Btw I love this site. I have looked at the Houzz App just about every night for over a year. I didnt realize they had a fun web site until I liked them on FB!

mamachers Your room is lovely. I would just move the chest and the tall piece with teddy on top.

wstdspace Thank you! The tall piece is an antique chimney cupboard with pierced tin panels and I have no where else to put it! Ugh I am not really into antiques any more but have a hard time parting with a few of them. (maybe I just need a shrink) The teddy was mine when I was a kid, so almost an antique! :)
