We just moved in a new house. I need to find a nice color or wall paper for my daughter's bedroom. The paintings in the bed are grey burgundy red and blue and the headboard and shelf are white ish / a bit yellow ish color. I've attached picture. Thx.

I have looking for a muted grey, burgundy and blue striped wallpaper that will add subtle colour and define the beds without being overwhelming. I will keep looking.

Awww! Your furniture is adorable! Reminds me of some of the decorative painting I used to do. Is this the wallpaper that was there already? Maybe Benjamin Moore Silvery Blue 1647, but I'd want to bring home samples first.

The ribbon painted on the footboard looks like a very pretty blue, you might want to paint the wall behind the headboard that color.

The existing wallpaper actually sort of goes in a weird way.

How about a pale blue to match alice then accessorize with the red of the ribbon make it girly with ribbon trims, button details etc. I love the bed.

I agree...in a way...the paper matches...because it has a classic look as well. If it were blue, it would be perfect. I think a cream colored textured wall paper would look fantastic. =)

There are some fun ways to paint these papers to give them an antique look.

Thank you Jen. I think it carries the story theme of the bed frame without competing with it.
