Need help with new bedroom!

heather0531February 21, 2013
I'm moving into my new house next month. Right now the walls of the bedroom are baby blue, but I bought this comforter set. What color scheme and furniture should I go with? I was thinking light gray walls with black furniture, but don't want to get too dark. Should I do light gold walls? Any help would be great! Thank you!

darker walls would look better with your bedding and would feel dramatic plus cozy at the same time. consider a color slightly lighter than your sheets and dust ruffle.

Is this your current home or the new home ? whats the floor in your new home / room. If the floor is beige , then gold beige walls will go.

This is my current home. The carpet in my new house is about the same color though.

Heather, I like the dark purple/grey color. What If you did an accent wall using a color like that? Then have the other walls be beige or off white so it's not all dark?!

I point this picture out because it has some of the purple-goldish tones and throws in a few accent colors and pieces that you might consider to jazz up the rest of the room. Even if the walls are light, it can have a very fresh look to it!
