Sue Fiorentini The yellow framed picture really jumped out at me. Please change.

What you need is an inspiration pattern. Are you wanting to go with navy and yellow? I would take the sham to the store and see what I could find that has that yellow/navy combo. If you are not in love with the navy, I have seen some really cute yellow and gray fabrics out there. You may have to paint the wall a crisper color and don't forget a new rug too.

sondramartina Lol i painted that yellow frame, but that can be redone.I am not doing big changes like painting walls and rug,,just minor stuff. Beddings is always different so i cant count on that pattern .Yellow bedspread is always there.

Amy Stanley I can't tell is your furniture an espresso color? If it is I would paint that picture frame espresso. I agree the bright yellow frame isn't working. You could try a chocolate color curtain- I think white would be too bright, yellow is a bit much yellow, an Ivory color might work as well if you were afraid of going the darker color.

sondramartina Small table is espresso colour but other browns are chocolate brown. Thanks.

decoenthusiaste Match the curtain to the wall color so it is part of the room, not an accent.

Amy Stanley If the browns are chocolate then I totally think a chocolate curtain would work!

ASVInteriors I agree with chocolate - not a fan of yellow and navy blue - if anything it would have to be a porcelain blue. But a chocolate curtains or even in a pattern would work
