Kitchen layout help
is it ok if the wall oven is on the opposite wall from the rangetop?

Ironwood Builders Sure, as long as there is counter top space for a baking center. Room for a stand mixer and bowls, sheet pans and other gear stored near. Best is if there is no obstruction between, so that things that need to go from cook top to oven can get there easily (think braised meats)

Dytecture Agreed, it's been done many times, mostly when there is a kitchen island. Or the oven is 90 degrees from the rangetop.

iwantakitchen Thank you for asking this. My KD was trying to get me to put in an area that is on the other side of my kitchen around the island. Too many steps for me! It would have looked great because this area is cutout, so to speak, so it would have been automatically integrated. No deal though.
