Barbara Griffith Designs You are not standing far enough away to see the entire wall. I would definitely choose #1 because they are taller.

cypress Are we talking about the pillows or prints on the wall?

Barbara Griffith Designs I guess the pictures are actually an illusion. Regarding pillows..I would choose # 2..I, however would choose a rug with pattern & color. To have 2 pictures & 2 small pillows to be the color punch in the room is not enough.

PYRAMID DESIGN GROUP Prints could be spaced slightly further apart--and replace glass with no glare glass. 2 pillows are probably enough, but they can be more interesting--look at pillows in Pier 1 . One larger more colorful object 0f plant on the coffee table might be a better choice.

Ornela Gorreja-Hasa Should one of the pillows be bigger and more colorful and the other one a solid color?

Barbara Griffith Designs Yes have a larger pillow of a different pattern. I would not have pairs of pillows.

Susan Mills Design Omela, it would look so much more pulled together, if you find the right piece of art for your dining room, then you can look for cushions that compliment the art. The two areas are really part of one room, and should relate to each other. Find some art, post the pics and we all will be happy to help you decide!
