A little bit of Haiti and A little bit of Italy
A client who is Italian wanted to replicate the cabinets in her northern Italy home while enjoying the art work and color of their home in Haiti. We added a window, opened up the kitchen, and filled it with light which is what they wanted. You can see the total transformation on our Houzz page.

Schachne Architects & Builders @arlene, thanks so much, actually the two outside windows were there, we put a third in the middle. The owner didn't want any wall cabinets on that side of the kitchen because she wanted as much natural light as possible. If you go to our home page you can see all the pictures of before and after and see the two original windows. Great client. Glad you liked it.

Arlene Warda, Architecture+Interior Design Thankyou Schachne! I like that idea, I did that too! see 'Simmon's Residence' on my page here, on Houzz. There was one window at the sink, originally, now there are 4! what a difference! my clients love it!....they also love the ledge I designed, now for there bottles and spices!... it was a common 50's kitchen, before!...thanks for sharing that lovely kitchen, you did!...
