Hidden Liquor Storage
While renovating our 220 year old farm house I knew needed some storage of glasses and liquor. Who doesn't? I designed this simple simple and efficient system. 6" deep shelves, an old horse stall door, and a barn door hanger, and a good carpenter was all it took. The painting was another project I'll post in the future

I'd bet during a party you could just put a nice table there with glasses, ice bucket etc and use it as a service bar. Very cool ;-)
Thanks for the idea -- been scheming lately how to lock up our extensive alcohol collection with teens/friends in the house, as it's overrun two kitchen cabinets and after a run of parties lately, can't seem to make it's way off of the kitchen counter. It multiplies every time we entertain, as everyone brings a bottle of something! Plus there's a pony kegerator in the kitchen, and kegs of homebrewing mead adorning the hallway console. I don't have enough stall doors to hide it all -- needs its own barn, perhaps! And believe it or not, other than parties and an occasional bottle of wine on a Saturday night by the fire, we rarely drink.
...(I am halfway through putting in a small wine cellar, which will help with the wine anyway.)
..under cabinets, 20.00 from Home Depot, wine bottles now alight!...)...
