Need advice on paint color for guest room.
Ok I've sampled more then a few paint colors for our small guest room. I'm trying to find the perfect warm tan that isn't too orange. Any suggestions would be much appreciated:) thanks!

Transform Your Home Maybe what you're looking for is something more in the taupe family. Try Kelly Moore color "Charro" or "Greystone". Color really changes depending in the amount of natural light and artificial light. A warmer tan is Kelly Moore "Spanish Sand". Good luck! :o)

Engrav's Decorating I can't quite tell what colors are in your bedding. I would take a pillow sham to your local Benjamin Moore dealer and they will help you select the perfect color. I would pull a color out of the bedding if you plan on keeping it. Take a photo of the headboard with you because you want the headboard to show off.

JWinteriors You have a crown moulding which opens up the opportunity to you to paint it the same color as your bedding. Nomadic desert from sherwin williams is a good neutral tan for walls. Bring window treatments all the way up to the crown to add drama. Add a chandelier vs a ceiling fan for a pampered feeling.

JWinteriors Side table is too small...add a small writing desk with chair for an added bonus

bagozziclan I think that color right above your headboard to the right is a nice color. I think the beige colors will go peach or yellow against your floors, and that's what you said you want to stay away from. It would find a taupe to go peachy [or orange] too. I think you need to find something with a bit of gray in it. Try Benjamin Moore "Revere Pewter" or "Rockport Gray". They both are greige [gray + beige.

jbmcgill Thank you for all the suggestions and comments. I like the idea of a small writer's table and chair. Here is a picture of the bedding close up. It's mostly beige, brown and blue.

Jayme Hobbs Seems warmer..more like the Sherwood tan..but I do see some grey...so a grey-beige could work too..

yvesun Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter HC-172 goes well with the grey tones. It's a lovely duvet cover!
