Any idea on updating maple captains chairs? I have 8 and a big round maple table at my cabin. Expensive to replace but very dated. The cabin is being remodeled and will be very contemporary . Open to anything.

lefty47 HI -- I would sell them and find something more fitting and even stackable . Too much money to have them sprayed or painted and they take up too much room around the table . If they are really not your style then they should go. I am sure they will sell well . Maybe $ 20. - $25. each ???

ptmatthews If you can't replace them, you could try painting them. Maybe white? But really, nothing is going to make them look contemporary.
