Limited tiles
Would it look ok to run tile on shower floor up the wall in unfinished area near shower floor? Also thinking of finishing top of tub surround with matching bathroom floor tile then finishing tub surround with wood paneling or wainscot, which may look the best? Front of tub has plastic access panel. Green board wall in distance will be wainscot painted white.

Ironwood Builders I think that using the floor tile cut to finish the wall and curb will be fine! The tub skirt in a paneled look with a removable panel at the motor is a good idea. Use paint to tie the skirt to the tile color.

Norm Walters Construction Inc. Just curious, how are you applying tile to the curb.

mstarling04 Plan on attaching plywood box to formed curb then attaching tile.

mstarling04 Should I add a tile chair rail around tub? Keep in mind the back wall curves up ( if you look hard you will see the angle).

Dytecture What you have with the tiling around the tub looks fine, I wouldn't tile the entire wall since you are able to customize some colors above the tub if it was just drywall.

bevballew I have around my tub custom tile with a finishing cap about 24 inches up and I think it is perfect. Not sure what you mean of a chair rail but if it is meant as a finishing decoration yes do so.
