Bedroom Window Treatment
Help. I need window treatment. My walls are light beige, so color would be good. I have a bay window and two side windows. I do not want functioning treatment (only for looks)-- I have a view that I do not want to block. Where is a good place to look for them on the internet (I have shopped the stores). Any photos for inspiration? I attached some of the material used for the bedding. Thank you for your time. I look forward to getting some suggestions.

Jo Cook Interior Design How about something on this idea? I would mount the treatment right below crown molding to get the most view you can. Bring them right across the four windows with jabots on either end, then repeat a single swag and corkscrew jabots in the window standing on its own. These are custom, however you could try Country Curtain's website for ready mades. As far as fabric, a small stripe using all the colors in the existing fabric, or a white to work with your coverlet. Good luck!

shortped Calico corners is great too! Also, could do the swag effect as above from Jo Cook and then do a Roman shade on smaller windows flanking bed.

dixmolsad Thanks for the suggestions. What is the brand and name of the second stripe material (like)!

paxsonsu Love, love, love the fabric. My room is similar and I put a short valance across the bay and went with long drapes for the side windows but I just went long on one side of each window to make it symetrical. Sorry I don't have a photo. Are you wanting fabric ideas or window treatment pictures?

dixmolsad If I use panels, could I add the red material to the bottom? I do like country curtains web. Most or not long enough, and would need to add about 18 inches, Thanks for the good advice.... Would like to continue to get more suggestion or photo's,

JMittman Designs A good seamstress or window treatment specialist could add fabric to curtains to make them longer. Below is a sample of such--though these were custom. My client moved to a new home with longer windows and we added an accent fabric to her previous curtains. I would suggest you put 4 panels on the bay, installed at the molding as suggested above.

jjdesignkloos I'm sorry, dixmolsad, I couldn't find the example I gave above; maybe some others here can help?

Jo Cook Interior Design I love, love, love the panels with the attached valance, but I feel that you need to run the valance around the top of the rest of the windows in the alcove as well as the single windows.
