lastplace I would not paint them if they are going to be used outside. They look great in the beginning but never seem to last. Why not try funky colours in outdoor stain.
DIAspoton use chalk paint. alternate black and white on the horizontal slats. paint a 5" wide vertical stripe of your favorite bright color like hot pink, citron or coral straight down the center of the back and seat.. the frame could be natural or white.
