Panelled Warming Draw with inset cabinets won't vent??
I have ordered inset cabinets and really wanted a panelled warming draw. MY KD said not only is it very hard to do a panel with inset, even if your contractor can do it, the WD won't vent properly. Is that any of your experiences? Should I just not panel it? Afraid if I don't panel it, it will look silly right next to my 30 inch Wolf range. I can't match it with the Wolf WD, its more then double the price of the Dacor and others. Help.

lisacabinetree Not exactly sure I understand, but you want a warming drawer with matching integrated cabinet door panel on the front?! You can definitely panel it but it can not be inset to match the other cabinets... The WD will overlay the frame. Possibly your KD misunderstood you. If you are ok with that WD front being the only 'door' in the kitchen that overlays, I don't see it being a problem. Especially if the different manufacturer/stainless finish will bother you (as it would me).

Have them hold a sample door on to the face of a display kitchen with inset doors in the showroom to be sure you're ok with the look!

Ironwood Builders Warming drawers are all electric and don't actually cook...so codes don't require a vent above. An electric wall oven does cook and it does not require a vent. Are you certain of your designer's credentials? I've put in a number of warming drawers...I don't think they get used much, if ever.
