Interiors International, Inc. I love wall paper because it can add color, pattern and texture. It isn't as durable as paint in some cases. Will this wall be rubbed and leaned against often? If so that is something you want to keep in mind when you chose a product.

dalma darling I would leave it the same color if you paint it. Have you considered a different material like wood or stone for the base of the bar? That may give you the feel you're looking for by making the bar area stand out.
Wallpaper would be a fun surprise there - I think when you know the bar counter material that will help make your decision.

calikym I would definitely lighten and brighten that wall with a wallpaper in your style. There are countless options. Do you have existing furniture and artwork to match?

Dezign Studio Inc Not sure what your requirements and budget are, but you could have a buffet , the length of the wall with either a hutch on either of the bar opening or paintable wall paper .
