Want to add a covered gathering area/outdoor kitchen off sunroom but don't want it to appear too "heavy".
The area I am describing is towards the left side of the house where you see the 4 large windows and then it drops back to the front of the garage. There are 2 sets of sliding doors where it drops back. This "area" is somewhat triangular and is wired for electricity and water. We would like to include a fire-pit or outdoor fireplace. My husband wants it to be somewhat covered...I'm fighting this...perhaps a pergola? We are worried about the roof lines matching up.
