Me and the baby are doing ok, but our 16 month old has some down with a horrible viral rash that's making her so irritable and unwell :( How are you doing? I'm coming over "there" to post next lol.

This is one of those recognizable designs that a certain cachet to a powder room. Go for it!
White shades give a lot more diffuse light (so not as bright as a bare bulb) but fill up the room more - judyg is right to suggest you put it on a dimmer.

princess_q I called the manufacturer and the gentleman I spoke to says it will not be enough light :( I really do think he is mistaken. The only reason I worry is that we will not have any pendants in the powder room. This pendant will be the only source of light.

Has anyone ever done this sort of idea in the powder room and how did it turn out?

Cynthia Taylor-Luce Powder rooms don't require bright light! I think the gentleman you spoke to was playing it safe. He didn't want to go out on a limb. In my powder room I have a wall sconce with two 'candle' type bulbs. It's plenty bright enough.
