ASVInteriors I like the way you have brought the colour out from your painting into your cushions - and what a difference a bunch of fresh flowers makes. Lovely!
As an absolute fan of grey, I am amazed to find myself saying I am not sure you need it here. Your sofa looks (in this picture) to be a donkey brown and it goes with your palette.
I would suggest instead investing time on some lovely curtains that go all the way down to frame your window. Again drawing on the strong colours from your print. I am not sure what you have to the left of the fireplace but placing a red pouf or a trunk could extend the room outwards by adding dot of colour there.
All the best in your project.
michigammemom I agree with ASV. Your poppy artwork contains beautiful warm colors that coordinate perfectly with your existing furniture. Definitely complete your room with a decorative curtain rod and drapery panels with a contrasting border as shown in the inspiration photo.
All About Interiors LLC I agree. Warm drapery to Frame that window is necessary. It can also bring in texture and color as well as pattern. Also some accessories around the fireplace to pull out the red contrast color is needed. As for the furniture, I like the warm tones you have, although you can't go wrong with gray with a pop of red. Good luck!
Gabberts Design Studio You have done a beautiful job so far! Your room is very inviting. I would definitely add drapes to soften the window, long panels to the floor. I would go with adding the poppy color as an accent, with more of a neutral color as the background. You don't want it to be overpowering.
