Paint color experts i need your help!!
Need help with an open plan paint color. Attached below are a few images of our living/dining area as well as the carpet and curtains for that area. Our couch is a camel color. Our kitchen opens up to the dining room slightly and I have attached pictures of that as I need a color in there that will compliment the lining/dining room yet coordinate with out granite. The color I had in mind for the living/dining room was BM Powell Buff 25% lighter. I don't want anything that will look too yellow. The room has southern exposure so it gets a lot of light! Help please!!

SPACIALISTS Hi lindsayuconn,
Here are a few color options we created. Hope they help

Valvorie Dunn I have used Powell Buff & I like it, but I would try a light warm gray. Check out Cape Hatteras Sand AC-34. It so hard to tell colors on the computers. You can probably borrow a color wand from your local Benjamin Moore dealer. Your rug & fabric are georgous. Let your colors jump out & take center stage what ever color you pick. If you have a powder room on the same floor use your green or rose on the walls.

Design & Decor By Shelley Another great colour to investigate in this space is Benjamin Moore Danville Tan..Has a slight green understone and works fabulous with the other colours attached..

Lydia I would go with the greyish-green found in the curtains and the rug. It would also tie in with the fireplace. You can accessorize using the cranberry colour.

Bona Properties, LLC I use this color frequently and people seem to go for it. It's called Ancient Stone by Valspar. I think I would compliment your fireplace...

lindsayuconn Thank you all! So the consensus is that I'm better off in the warm grey arena than the warm tans I started off with!

Valvorie Dunn I think so. Check out that Brandon Beige with your fabric, rug & stone.

Valvorie Dunn Your camel sofa will still look beautiful with it. See design & decor by Shelley samples above.

Marie Hebson's interiorsBYDESIGN Inc. Hi lindsayuconn, marie here.
Love that you've shown us your area rug and drapery in your room - but I also want to see the paint swatches laid out with these samples - in the sunlight to help you with colour.

Colour is so important to get right, if you don't want to hire a professional to come out and help you choose, then pick up some swatches and then repost this question with the favorite samples on top of the rug and drapery.

I would do the mossy green tone to bring out the wood, or find that warm gray with green undertones to compliment the stone and the green tones in your purchases.

Sico Sketch 6206-31 is a perfect balance of grey and green...
