Bedroom Help
I am tired of my bedroom, I have thought about painting the bed in Annie Sloan's Old White, and then going from there. I have two dressers that I recently painted in Paris Grey that I could put in the room and add or take out other things. I am also going to replace the carpet to a very off white berber(plain ..no color in it), I also have a chandelier to put where the bed is. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Stanton Designs-online design services What do you like and want to keep about the room?

wmpj I like your bed the way it is. I think the problem with the room is the wall color. It's not making the room inviting or cozy. Since you have so much light coming into the room, I would paint the walls a darker color.

Dytecture The description of the example says a "Teen Girl's Room", but I think it is sophisticated and calming enough that it could be applied to your situation.

Manhattta Architecture, P.C. I'd recommend you install hardwood flooring with an area rug. If you really want to keep it in that white palette, you could whitewash the hardwood floors.

If you are considering painting your furniture here is an idea. Shabby Chic. It would work nicely with your blue and white vases which would look better if they were grouped together resulting in a visual impact. they would look especially nice on the table in your first pic. I wouldn't paint that table.
Something to consider.
