I'd tile that entire wall with a mosaic glass - change out your appliances to be all stainless steel, change out the hardware to something more modern - the cabinets - give them a good cleaning with orange oil - i love them! maybe new counter tops? Quartz?

Karen Emmons I agree with Marie, I like the cabinets. New matching appliances, countertops, and new hardware and you will be transformed. I think the items on the top of the cabinets makes it look cluttered. It would look best as a clean sleek area.
