Backsplash Question
We are remodeling our kitchen. We will have soapstone counters and I am trying to figure out if it is okay to have the backsplash in soapstone and then add tile above that. I see that most of the kitchens on Houzz have the tile go right down to the counter. Are there pros and cons about doing it either way? Is it simply a matter of style? I just don't know what to do. I think I prefer having the soapstone backsplash but don't want to make a big mistake! Thank you!

PYRAMID DESIGN GROUP You might get a better more waterproof seal if you have a 4 inch curb with tiles above.. However ir will NOT look as nice that way. When I design kitchens I run the tile down to the stone countertop.
