Exterior Colors?
We have a gorgeous Prairie Style house that was "remodeled" during the 90's and covered with ugly vinyl siding. We want to re-do the exterior, but are unsure about colors/materials. Any suggestions would be really useful!

It would be great if you could find some pictures of the house before the siding was installed. I wonder if the roof over the front door was flat, since it has the support rods. I don't think that you need to have leaders off the gutters, which really look unattractive. I would replace them with rain chains. (You can search Houzz photos for examples.)
I would be looking for clues of what is under the siding. I can imagine stonework by the front steps and I wounder if the front room was a porch with columns at one time.
