michigammemom Angela are you looking to use all of those decorative items on your hall table? Can you be more specific about what kind of help you desire?
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design It looks like you need to edit your accessories down to just a few and put the others on a shelf in the garage or attic so that you can rotate to them in a few months. That way you'll be better able to admire your pretty things when they have starring roles and are not just lost in the chorus line. So please try to limit your selections to three per tabletop, or in the case of that dresser, you could group three and also have a lamp.
In photo 3 it appears that your china cabinet is stuffed so full of beautiful things that we can't see the forest for the trees. Again, I recommend placing some in storage so that you can better view what's there.

Monica McCleary-Stuart Angela..I believe editing of your accessories are needed too... And are you planning on keeping your current artwork in addition to the mirrior in the space. If so that will help me give you my exact advice..Is the wall color new? Love the new light fixture!
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design The basket would be beautiful if it were all by itself on the chest. But if you need a lamp there, then it needs to go elsewhere.
Darzy I like your new mirror. I think I'd try using one of your 3 piece sets on one side of the dresser, then a lamp on the other side. The basket is nice, for someplace else... maybe for magazines by a chair?
Angela Pascoe @Carolyn, I want to thank you for suggesting that I show the tree. I de clutter my kitchen this weekend but convince myself that the two worse area held the stuff that was the most important to me. My family pics and stuff from my military days. But it was like a drill sergeant telling me that my shot group was not tight. So I have tighten them up a bit, not there yet but I will shortly.
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design You've made a vast improvement in the china cabinet, but keep at it. I wish you would display some of those wonderful family photos on a wall. They could look great in a hallway or in your powder room, hung in tight formation. You can mix frames and should leave about 2" of space between pictures.
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design Angela, with all the vases you have, I suggest that instead of going out to find a new lamp, turn one of your tall vases into a lamp. You show a tall vase in a photo with an old brass lamp that has no shade. It looks to me like that vase would make a cool lamp. A lamp shop can do this for you. Ask for a price and have them help you select a shade for the lamp.
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design Yes, the vase on the right could be made into a lamp. Or you could just get a shade for the lamp on the left...your choice.
Angela Pascoe I like the idea of trying to make the vase into a lamp. One mire question, the is brass and it is the only thing brass in the room does it matters only cause it is easier to get a shade vs making a lamp
Angela Pascoe Just so I understand. Is it vase and lamp with two new lamp shade. I did tall vase vs small vase . or lamp by itself or vase by itself. I hope its not confusing
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design You must not use the brass lamp with the tall vase. The vase is TOO tall to use with the lamp. Something broader and shorter would work as an accessory on the dresser with a tall lamp. The lamp can be either the brass one with a shade or the vase made into a lamp with a shade, but not with both.
Darzy Much better! You can really enjoy the pieces individually. You have some pretty awesome collectibles. Love the curvacious lady with the white hat/dress!
ReMax - Lisa I always take my mothers advice.... Don't hang on to things in your home unless they are useful or beautiful! Also is anyone going to address the wall colour? Something much more neutral would show off the paired down beautiful treasures.. How about BM clay beige? One of my favourite neutrals.
ReMax - Lisa Sorry - I don't know what colour the floors are - I didn't see any pics of the floor. The clay beige I mentioned is very neutral though and should go with most wood flooring
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design In the photos above, I like the plate and vase in photo 3. I would reverse the locations of the plate and the vase and add the lamp to the right, removing the small object that is located back right which looks like it might be a candle.
Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design Angela, I prefer the plate with 1 vase, but would move the plate 2" back toward mirror and 2" to right. I would then place the vase in front of the plate, off center to the right. Move lamp 2" to left.
An alternate arrangement would be the 3 vases plus the lamp. If you do this, the vases move to the left third of dresser top and the lamp moves 2" left.
Angela Pascoe Or this, like this better, don't make the vase seem so overpowering which was the feeling I was getting. Do you also think the lamp shade is okay
Angela Pascoe I am waiting on handyman to lower them. He was to finish today but only finish the mirror. I did add a taupe also it was too thin but that is an option too since I seem to be only have gotten three so far
