kinz9999 You have very nice furniture. I would center your TV on your entertainment center, get a bigger and more colorful rug. What colors do you like? I would also paint the long wall an accent color. Maybe a gallery wall of photos or just frames painted out. Good Luck!

Riddle Construction and Design The TV center looks too small on the big wall. You need to either re-arrange the furniture putting the sofa on that large wall with art work above or add some kind of large ( meaning tall) furniture piece to offset the size of the wall. This could sit dead center or be offset. I am thinking some kind of armoire. A paint color would also be a possibility.

crawf0rd You need a warm colour as everything is cool. I would suggest getting some colours and paint samples on the wall. Have a look at Natasha Daintry's website ( she is a ceramicist who loves colour)

travisinteriors Nice slag area rug make sure large enough all furn should sit on it even if chairs are puled out. A warmer color on walls, with large picture on wall in middle. 6x6 foot would be nice. Something with a lot of color.

carolins I like your TV unit and the off-centre TV. It's not too small in my opinion, and it leaves a space for a nice big piece of art or shelves with some nice photos or ceramics (whatever you like) between the TV and the dining room.
Modern High-Rise

Do you need 6 chairs around the table? Or could you put 2 chairs somewhere else until you need them. Spare room for instance?

I'd also paint that entire wall in quite a good colour. I mean: not too light. I feel that it needs some 'body' to tie the dark TV unit, the dining table and the kitchen together. Spicy Hue (the orangy one, but it will probably clash with your kitchen. Or it will be the most exciting, terrific colour choice éver :-))
(you'll have to do quite large test spots on the actual wall in different places to see how the colour of your choice will work in the light) I'm not suggesting you should go with either of the colour suggestions I'm giving you, I just added them to make you think about a different colour. Art often looks much better on a coloured wall too :-)

A bigger rug would look much better. If you find a bigger rug that you love, you could perhaps pick a colour from that.

carolins I was also thinking that you could replace the drum pendant in the living room for something less solid and centre one of the tables under it.

jaintak1 U can make a boundary between the kit and the tv area by fixing a stainless steal sheet on the wall same size as the table and then u can paint the tv wall some dark gray even light one
