Window Designs Etc. by Marie Mouradian Motorized window coverings are essential when designing a nursery.
Window coverings and child safety are large concerns in the nursery. A motorized window shading insures no dangling cords for the little one to get tangled in that could result in strangulation.
As a window treatment professional it is my job to inform clients of all potential dangers and educate them in child safety.

Urban Aesthetics I believe motorized blinds in a nursery is one way to have blinds that are safe for children's rooms. Most motors are very quiet and with some manufacturers you can have a wall switch and a remote (as a back up) to operate the blinds.
