Do you think these cushions go together with a chocolate brown leather sofa?
Please let me know if I can mix these fabrics and patterns?

eztia Looks fine to me, based on the limited information you provided.

liz1502 The zebra print is velvet and the animal print is fur - the sofa is chocolate brown leather

Barnhart Gallery Not so sure liz -- one hit of animal print is a win. More than one can put you in the jungle. If it stops with these two and you love them, okay. I prefer the "zebrish."

liz1502 Already got the animal print - do you think matching fur cushions in a solid colour would be better?

beren the fur one looks heavier, it'll go with heavy materials (curtains and thick rugs)... the velvet looks chic, lighter in style. Looks more expensive and refinedalso.
I would not put both one the sofa. One will likely make the other one look cheap or off in terms of color and shine.
I also don't think leather looks great with fur. too different textures: fur would be better on a microfiber sofa maybe.
i like the shine in the velvet, the other one looks dull next to it; might just be the picture;
That 's my opinion !!!

liz1502 Thanks to all for comments so far - this is my first house and I need to buy everything. That's why I don't have pictures of the actual space yet as it is still a building site but want to be ready to move in!

socalgadgetgal Hi Liz. Have you established the paint color for the wall yet? That will make a difference as to coordinating colors and what theme you want to pull. With animal prints less is more and I would use it as an accent piece. You can choose coordinating solid pillows in the same style fabric but that don't have a pattern. This will make the animal one pop without being garish or too busy. If your walls are cream or light in color then I would pull the lightest out of the pillow and go with a solid in the same texture of the pillow. :) Hope this helps. It is so exciting to decorate your first place !!!

beren Sometimes less is more, i would just leave the pillow alone on the sofa and use contrast with accent pieces or a dark red rug. The pilows make a statement on their own. red or olive green are good contrasting colors with brown and beige.
