Linda You will need to consider this carefully. If the storm door traps heat between the glass and the door and becomes a glass fronted solar oven, you may be exposing the door to damaging conditions worse than the direct sunlight.

creeser I would get one with the smallest possible frame to match either your trim or the wood on your front door. Depending on which look appeals to you most. Here's a photo both ways.
