lessismoore This is a beautiful paisley. I think I "almost" bought this on overstock ...
Can you post a pix of your room/chair?
Pale green would be my first choice for the chair. Next would be a tan. You can always add an aqua/blue in the room to pick up the blues.

Judy M I don;t have a photo of the chair, it is a simple wicker chair, nothing fancy but it is convenient for sitting to put our shoes on. I have the cushion but making changes to the bedding and need to recover the cushion. I was leaning toward green since the walls are blue.
I'm using a sisal type area carpet under the footboard portion of the bed about 6 x 9 size.

would you use a solid green or

I have to get some fabric samples, I know I can't trust the computer monitor.

mpoulsom I think I would either use something with a big print rather than small since your paisley is intricate. Green and white would be great or something with green and blue. If you wanted just the green I would keep my eyeballs open for green fabric that has texture as well.

lessismoore I like your first fabric example - should look great with the texture of the wicker!

longogene Pick one of your favorite colors in your comforter and potentially plain - like a silk velvet. Try Design Diva Fabrics online - sometimes their sales are amazing! If you do a plain fabric you could pipe it in a different color. If you want a pattern - look at the scale of your main pattern and find something that is a different scale (small stripe, small pattern) that compliments your bedding.

sam0705 Hi JudyM - This color is probably off, but I love the idea of a graphic pattern just, as someone above mentioned, in a larger scale pattern to complement the smaller paisley.
I am thinking something like this:

Judy M The scale of the paisley is actually larger than it appears online. The colors are a bit more saturated as well. I was surprised when I received it, but I still like it.

Judy M That is a nice choice, I'll check it out. Thank you

Judy M Thanks, I'm thinking something with both colors (blue and green) or just green and white is the answer. All blue will be too much blue.

eshirley Don't know the style of your room, but a stripe with green/blue/tan or a tan/white or green/white plaid and a floral with all the colors in your fabric and a few other colors for pop would mix. This would allow you to bring in other colors where you won't tire of the pallet.
