It seems as if you have one wall in the bedroom that is unbroken by windows or doors (plain). What about the twin bed on top of a study area design?
You could also put a twin bed along the plain wall, and a study area in front of the window with the baseboard heater (toasty toes in the winter).
You might be able to fit a bookcase along the closet wall next to the entry door to the room.
I see an electrical outlet on the closet wall. Another option if there is enough room is a chest of drawers, with a lamp on top, and a mirror on the wall above.
What are your thoughts?
As this photo suggests you could have a sofa bed and utilize this room for multi function.
something to consider?
In a small space, the bedding is the main place to bring in color - that will help us tell you about wall colors and coordinating roman shades or drapery.
some color combos for inspiration.
So here's what I found in just twenty minutes on the Target website, and there's so much more, but I have to run. Maybe I'll send you some more ideas later. Glad you know what you like! (The yellow window gel is from:

Then your bedroom will "look" like a lounge, but live like a bedroom. The frame has a washable slipcover, and looks like a nice couch.
Or, check out this daybed with a trundle and some neat storage and display area to reach from bed.

If you are going to do lime walls, I think you want a color like this - http://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family/SW6715-lime-granita/ bright and poppy, but not too dark.
You can do a cute rug and some pouf chairs for hanging out - turquoise and lime look great together. Indoor outdoor rugs are perfect when you are a teen so you don't ruin anything - just wipe stuff up with a sponge. See this fun option http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Ivory-Green-Outdoor-Area-Rug-67-x-96/6233356/product.html with lime and turquoise.
Hope these give you some inspiration - have your mom check out the links.

Lime green is a great color for a room and you can put so many great colors with it such as white, light blue, pink, purple. My daughter had a lime green room until we were going to move.
Lowes also has great looking fans. I love the look of crystal chandeliers in bedrooms too.
I am sure you will have fun. An area rug would look nice. Target.com has a lot of area rugs, also JCPenney.com.
You also might want to look on Etsy.com for item. I am sure you would like a bulletin board to help with organization and there are some nicely framed one on Etsy. There are also shops with decorator pillows. And, you can stop by my photography shop and browse too. It is nancyhehmann. Just input what you need in their search engine.

In the fourth photo KB posted, there is a white platform for the bed. In your room, put a trundle bed in this space. The storage in the photo is excellent for a small space. When one has a small room, build UP. All the way to the ceiling!
Re: lamps. I like a combination torchiere floor lamp with a reading light attached halfway up the pole by a gooseneck. Look at Home Depot and Target.
Re: window treatments. If you just want light and privacy, Home Depot sells window film in various designs. If you need the window covering to darken the room, perhaps a top-down bottom-up cellular window shade would work.
Look on your Internet browser for "bladeless fans" for more options.
What are your thoughts?
(Grand idea) I'm a loud fan sleeper so a corner or wall mount industrial fan is ideal for me. You could spray the cage to color or have it powder coated locally. This brings an amazing amount of ambient noise into your room and keeps errant sounds from waking you up. The color matching will soften it up. Wall/Corner mount leaves full ceiling height in the middle of the room. There are plastic alternatives for much cheaper. Bladeless fans...I don't get it. Well, I definitely don't get the Dyson at about $300.
Not the cheapest but a great alternative to a trundle is a bean bag bed. http://www.beanbags.net/bean-bag-beds.html
I used to own a Corda Roy's and it was amazing. Stick with the single. They're big but are the best seats ever. This will open you up to daybed or single platform possibilities with integrated drawers. Clearly space is at a premium There are good ones out there like the Biko daybed. Platform is a firm sleep so ensure you are prepared for it.
White paint: By far my favorite white paint has been one with pink undertones. The brightness it brings to a room is unmatched. Behr Frosty Morning in satin was a great pick in my last house.

Semi gloss if you're putting it on the trim.
I just had to get rid of my son's dorm bed with desk underneath due to ceiling height issues. The fan is a show stopper but proximity to the ceiling is another concern. Ceiling burns on your forehead are not cute. Take my word for it.
Don't be scared to bail of in some DIY. Basic tools and techniques are way more simple than you think and you'll really appreciate the experience. There are tons of sites that will ensure your success
Your thread is a beast. Hoping I helped in some way.

Or the other window wall.( picture)
Actually, you did say that you had somewhere else for homework, so maybe that would be a cool reading nook, and keep your room from being overpowered by a super tall bunk. Hmm...
But, I think the last bunk you show is pretty cool, if you have the ceiling room for it -- don't forget to measure, measure, measure. Ask mom for some painter's tape, and use it on the walls and floors to get an idea of how much space each peice will take up.
Type whatvabout his alarm clock
I have a color block graphic idea for those sliding closet doors. Tape across the center of each door. paint the top half of one white and the bottom lime green. then reverse the colors or the other. If you use that magnetic paint and/or Dry Erase paint ( or film) you could have a gigantic message board with fuchsia and turquoise magnets on the door that slides in front.
Are you going to paint the woodwork White or leave it stained?
Be sure to test out climbing up into those loft beds. My daughters found they liked the ones in their dorm rooms that they could keep lower just over a short dresser and bookcase.
"For your color scheme complimentary colors pop so i suggest painting it black then gettting a white floor then get no furniture so that you can walk in and see the beauty of the complimentarity you could also get one window on the ceiling and put a white drape over your house so when you look up it will be white and lastly fill the room with peanuts and lastly this is a really long sentence because i have not used any punctuatuion yet so you must be thinking about this sentence like its going on forever at this point and if you have reached this far you are weird because you shoiuld have figured out a long time ago that this wasnt going to help you congratulations you finished reading it!"
My apologies; normally I would never share such nonsense and I promise he won't post again, but somehow I thought that S&K would get a giggle out of our Saturday morning silliness.
I agree with the suggestion to get a white bed.
I suggest a white alarm clock. Does the one you like come in white?
I also like the idea that Kathleen MK posted about painting your closet doors in color blocks. Same idea as the original photo of glass closet doors you posted, only painted.
The rug you like (second photo) looks easier to vacuum than some of the others.
Before you buy a chair, sit in it and make sure it is comfortable!
Am I correct that you want the walls to be green? This is a long discussion and I may have missed your color choice for the walls.
...oh and the math whiz algebra thing was all me -- sharia had said she was good at everything but math, and as my son's Math Olympiad Team coach, I'm always looking for real life applications for math. :)
When I was in eighth grade, my friends and I got training from an Interior Designer, ASID. She taught us to measure the room and then draw it on graph paper. 1/4 inch on the graph paper = 1 foot in the room. Also, do the same thing with the walls, adding windows and doors. You will end up with five diagrams.
I am sorry I can't get my iPad to post a diagram. In the center will be the top view of your bedroom (the floor plan). Let us say the door is at the "bottom" of the floor plan. Underneath this, put the diagram of the wall with the door and closet. At the very top, is the wall with the window that has the baseboard heater. On the left is the plain wall. On the right is the wall, with a window and part of the closet.
Can you make sense of this? I hope so.
If this method is too difficult, using painter's tape on the floor and walls of the actual room to outline where the furniture will go is a great idea, as previously suggested.
You mentioned fuchsia and citrus as accent colors. I like tangerine (orange with a little bit of yellow added) as a good citrus color with lime green. Fuchsia is always a fun color to add as an accent.
Bedding: Get the lime green sheets you mentioned. :)
It is often easier to buy the comforter/bedspread and THEN choose the wall color. Much easier to match paint to something you already have than to go shopping and maybe not find a good match.
The rug you liked in the post above would be fun to have in your room. I wonder if it costs a lot of money?

I just chose the grey woodish one instead because it's very cool and I think you'll like it more when you're 20.
I'm going to need your help again today because in starting to look at actual possibilities.
Will you be buying the bed today?
I have seen multi-color lamps for sale. I liked them. I do not know about the quality of light they have for reading or writing, however. I suppose I would have to find one on display at a store and try it out.

Do you have a runner up choice? Something with lots of storage hopefully -- your teenage self will thank you.
I went to Houzz PHOTOS, scrolled down to KIDS, and entered "daybed" into the search box. There are 314 photos. I selected several I thought you might like. I can attach four at a time. I am sorry they do not enlarge on this post. I will give a bit of info so you can find them in PHOTOS if you like.
The first photo shows a bed with some extra storage. It is by PBteen.
The second and third photos are by HUISSTYLING.
The fourth photo shows storage drawers underneath the bed, and storage at one end going up the wall. It is by Driggs Designs.
The second photo is by weiderusa.com.
I hope you and your mom can agree on a daybed for you right away. I know you are eager to go shopping!!
Need help with curtains thought against glass door now I am having a mirror door what do you think?
Very nice bed. Be sure to put a zippered full mattress cover on it to keep out dust mites. Then put on a mattress pad. Then your sheets.
The stools you chose look versatile for all kinds of work station heights.
Can you post a photo of your new closet space? Another view of the windows would be helpful, also
