Backsplash/countertop coordination
I am using carrera marble subway tiles for the backsplash in my new kitchen. I am looking for a quartz material that will blend well without competing with the marble. The cabinets will be creamy white, while the island will be a distressed black. I am looking for a zinc for the island countertop. Thoughts?

paulaoco Is there any white quartz product that would go with the marble backsplash?

feeny Yes and no. There are white quartz countertop materials that mimic the look of marble (Silestone Lyra, for example), but I don't think putting them next to real marble is the best idea. One is bound to see the difference between the real and the reproduction more starkly that way. But let's see what some of the professionals here say.
