Better green for new master bedroom/mural idea?
First timer here...
My vision for my new master bedroom was to have green primarily with accents of blue and a touch of purple as accent colors. The problem is, as I started to paint, this green is coming across as VERY fluorescent! This wall (west) is slated for an aloe-shaped mural from a piece of artwork I saw. Any ideas on if I should scrap the mural idea, and what you think of the green? I've included both the art and current shots of the wall with window and flooring included.
Thanks in advance!
I'm open to all suggestions!

Kelly What about something more neutral like a gray? Benjamin Moore Crisp Khaki...i am thinking this will make the art work pop.

ASVInteriors If you want to add the green it would be fine. But the green you have is completely off tone with the mural. Make sure that whatever colour you choose, picks up a colour from the mural or, as Kelly, suggested go in an opposite direction and create a neutral backdrop.
First lesson in painting walls, paint large samples on EACH wall (where you are planning to paint), wait 24 hours and then proceed if all meets your satisfaction.

latifeh I support Kelly's opinion go for nutural color gray or light beige

eztia I also suggest a neutral wall color so the artwork does not compete with the wall color. The neutral wall color will allow the artwork to "take center stage."

Stamps Design Services You could go with a very pale green (with yellow undertones) which would put the emphasis on the mural but it would still complement it...

Christina Lambard Thank you, everyone. I am seeing that neutral is the way to go on the other three walls. I'm going to darken this paint for the background only, and then proceed.
Hopefully I will upload some great result photos!
Thanks again!
