eztia You might have more success with a double curtain rod. Use a plain white drapery with blackout lining closest to the window, and choose a pretty pink fabric for the main drapery.

Bob The Blind Guy There is a place called half price drapery. They have several pink room darkening drapes. Here's a link.....http://search.halfpricedrapes.com

Creatively Yours Custom Inc. You can have a pink curtain with blackout lining custom made. That can get costly. How about a heavy duty vinyl window shade that would be room darkening and easier and cheaper. If you need this to keep bright sun and daylight out so baby will sleep, remember that the words "room darkening" can be used by some companies where their product is more light dimming or light controlling and not darkening as you need.

rawketgrl I have thermal blackout liners on all my curtains because I could not afford to upgrade my windows in my last house and already had curtains that worked. It used liner fabric and Velcro and it works like a charm. Heat, light and cold stays out, energy bills are low, and it was inexpensive to do!

Blackout Curtains at amazon, nice pink color.

If that does not work find the curtains (any curtains) in the color you love and get black out liners, you can add them yourself, it is a kit.

Or if you cant find the size you need in a liner....Just get thermal blackout liner fabric by the yard and Velcro them on.

Congrats on the new baby! :D

Cheery Curtains Hope these curtain designs will give you some inspirations.Mouse over the image for a better view. It might be better if you upload a photo of your nursery, though.
