Is it ok to have painted trim and stained trim in the same house?
Finishing our basement. We want white cabinets in the craft room, but stained woodwork around the bar. Is it ok to have both?

Rockin' Fine Finish Yes it can be tastefully. Do you have a picture?

Purcell Quality, Inc. Absolutely, but like Rockin said.. make sure it is done tastefully!

Sarah Bernardy Design Yes, you can mix your trim and cabinetry finishes from room to room as long as they are separate from each other. You can also do combination finishes within the same room. All in good taste as mentioned by both Rockin Fine Finish and Purcell Quality.
