Kitchen remodel-50's ranch
Photos follow.Room=roughly 15'x10'-no room for knock-out! Windows (new) face east; want 2 sun tunnels in ceiling. DW moving to R of sink; range to current DW space with trash cabinet on L by back door. REMOVING bar which divides space, running cabinets past window, corner, then to bar with seating on wall (to be removed)adjacent to D. rm. (shallow cabinets beneath with room for chairs.)Need appliance "garage", lazy susans or swing-out corners, CD frig. MW to stay in current space. May replace poket door with louvered one now entry to D. rm? 4" header to deliniate between K/D rooms.
Thinking of pearl/dove grey wood cabinets (same color top/bottom?), B/W countertop, B/grey floor. Undercounter, ceiling LED lights. Want some color; very little space for paint! D/L room (an "L") now 4 varied shades of plum (all on same card); would like to use 1 of those or a raspberry? Should ceiling match D/L white? (I love colored ceilings, but maybe not here due to openness. Not sure what color appliances; have heard many negatives about SS care. Ideas wanted! (more photos coming)
