juarezj The Antique frenched oak is $45 sq/ft. The aged French oak runs around $17 sq/ft.

ruthinlj $35 per square ft. for wide plank (5" - 9") for just the flooring, uninstalled.

ctmaster I was able to get reclaimed antique oak that is milled into engineered flooring (3/8) but total thickness is 3/4" -$13/square ft. uninstalled

bepsf You could get Utility Grade solid oak floors from Lumber Liquidators for less than $1/square foot, have it Sanded and stained dark and let the kids beat up on it for the next decade or so and pocket the difference...
...it wouldn't be exactly the same - but close enough!
