I must admit, I prefer a glass enclosure over a shower curtain, but some homeowners have no other option but to use one. If you have to use a shower curtain, make it a beautiful one! Here are some of my favorites that are sure to beautify any bathroom. — Jami from Imagine Design Blog

Here's another paisley for you! I can't help it; I've been so attracted to this print lately. The subdued primary colors of this curtain make it very eye catching, and it would go best with a soft background — maybe light blue walls with cream cabinetry. For drama, I'd accessorize with red and coral towels.

If you don't know yet, my favorite color combination is black and white. Basically anything black and white is going to catch my eye, but what I really like about this curtain is that the design and the pattern are not too "in your face." This is quite subtle and beautiful, yet it still makes a big impact.

What I like about this shower curtain (besides it being black and white) is the graphic nature of the bold pattern. It's not typically something I would source for my clients, but I appreciate its artistic qualities.

This shower curtain is simply sweet. The color palette is soft, and the paisley pattern says nothing but "girlie" to me. I'd love to see this in a little girl's bathroom with soft yellow or pink walls and white cabinetry.

This is such a serene shower curtain. I like the watercolor effect that it has in its stripes. It's not too formal and rigid, but has a more loose and flowing vibe. It would be perfect for a bathroom by the beach.

I've had a long time love affair with the peacock, so this guy had to make my list. I'm really loving the soft color palette of this curtain. It'd be beautiful paired with classic white subway tile as the shower surround. Again, this is another one for the girls.

There are a lot of chevron curtains out there now, but what I like about this Etsy shop is that it offers a wide variety of colors to choose from. Of course, if it were for my home, I'd choose the black and white.

Here's a more sophisticated, mature choice for a shower curtain option. The gray diamond pattern is cool and classic, and it would be a great complement to the majority of bathrooms.

You can never go wrong with a damask. I love this bright and cheery curtain. I think it would perk up any dull space in a hurry. It would be a knockout in a black and white bathroom.

This is a unique pattern on a shower curtain, and I like it. It's very organic with the river rock design. A spa-like environment would be best for this curtain, as the soft blue-green color is very serene.

This is one of my favorites. I'm loving the black and white and the simplicity of the wide black band at the bottom. Plus, anything monogrammed is cool in my book. This would look good in a traditional-style bathroom.

Holy cow! Here's some more black and white for you all. Polka dots make me smile. I like this curtain because it's bold in its pattern, yet it's not too flashy. It kind of reminds me of Twister. This would be cool in a teen's bathroom with bright pink walls for a girl and bright green or blue walls for a boy.

Very simple, very artsy and very hip, this curtain has a sense of humor that I like. It's unique, which makes me want to use it even more.

This shower curtain has a nice vintage vibe about it. I love the colorful birds and the organic brown and green branches. A farmhouse or country-style bathroom would be perfect for this curtain.

| What's an ideabook without some toile? I'm loving this classic pattern and the fact that it comes in three different colors. This is another perfect option for that country-style bathroom, especially when paired with a claw-foot tub. |

This is a beautiful shower curtain. The black mixed with the white and gray is a sophisticated palette, but then it's punched up with a pop of red. I like that the pattern is quite large and takes up most of the panel.

Bling Bling! Add some sparkle and pizzazz to your bath with this shimmery, silver curtain. I'm a fan of anything that sparkles, and this is a real eye catcher. I'd keep the rest of the bathroom in subdued and quiet finishes, just so you don't feel like you're inside a disco ball.

What is more lovely than Laura Ashley? For real. This is the perfect complement to any little girl's bathroom. The soft palette of pink, white and gray is as sweet as a Siamese kitten.

I simply love Ikat. It's basically my favorite print. There's just something so tribal and special about it. This curtain is chic and beautiful in design. The gray and coral provide high contrast, and you get a lot of bang for your buck with this curtain.

Bam! Here's some color for you. I love this shower curtain. I'm partial to floral prints, and the bigger and bolder they get, the better they are. This one is pretty and romantic. I'd source this for any bachelorette.
