The deluge of holidays the last few months leads to a dearth of them mid-January. If you used up all your vacation days in December and are staring a few months of cold weather in the face, join us as we traverse the world and mentally voyage to warmer climes via Houzz photos. So far we've seen Greece, Italy, and the Caribbean. Today, find yourself magically transported to Hawaii.
You wake up, clear the sleep from your eyes, and — what's this? — it appears that by sheer force of will, you've managed to transport yourself to beautiful Hawaii.

Now I'm drooling...what an amazing view and I love the way the houses are designed to accent the view rather than distract from them. Beautiful ideabook thanks!

You can get your fill of fantastic Hawaii scenery by watching the new show Hawaii Five O, a remake of a very old show, that I unfortunately remember watching as well. This new version of the show gives you much more scenery shots and there are more beautiful people in it as well:)

I actually sighed over the leaf-shaped chaises in the pool....ohhhh. And I'm looking out at snow.

I lived on O'ahu, Hawai'i for 10 yrs. 1st pic was taken out our room window on Maui. The Hibiscus are on my lanai and cut from my front yard. The last 2 pics are from the island of Lana'i at the Ke'ola Lodge. It is a beautiful quiet little island. I luv'd living there but missed my son in Idaho so now we can afford to go visit my dh's family on the islands
