I'm also planning a new kitchen -to go with the new house build. My idea of an update is a loose translation of a french kitchen: creamy vanilla cupboards, black (honed) countertops, silver/chrome accents, wideplank, honey floors w/satin finish, mosaic tile, tin backsplash, lots of old world charm.... well, at least that's what it is this week! ~Jen
