irish1223 Very beautiful and unique rooms, but they don't look like children's rooms. Espeically the 3 year old's room. Don't get me wrong, the design is lovely, but my kids like their rooms to reflect THEIR age-appropriate tastes. These would never do it.

olldroo Three absolutely delightful rooms, but rooms to grow with the girls?? I would suggest they are rooms waiting for the girls to grow into. Children are only children once and should be allowed to make the most of their childhood while they can. These rooms don't even look geared for sleepovers.

What 3 year old girl wouldn't want at least a dozen Disney princesses in her room - separate playroom or not. I'm not advocating Licensed furnishings but a young room can still be achieved without them. In 5 years' time are the girls not going to be sick of the sight of these rooms anyway, growing girls can be very fickle in their tastes.

I am also very concerned about safety issues with these rooms. The bookcase for the 3 year old is an invitation to climb, the bedside tables - how stable are they if climbed on. The lamp base is an invitation for tiny fingers to become jammed in. I would even be concerned about the lamps in the 10 year old's room, they look like glass to me, as absolutely beautiful as they are, definitely not for a child's room.

I won't even start on 3 year olds, white furniture and textas!!

Fine Art & Portraits by Laurel The furnishings and accessories are very quirky and interesting. Somehow the two window pelmets don't feel harmonious to me. I think they could be softer.

debralong The dresser someone asked about is by Nurseyworks and is the triple. I know because I have it and love it. When my daughter was an infant we had a changing pad on the top, but now, that is gone and I have a lamp and small dollhouse on the top. It truly is a piece you can enjoy for a VERY long time.

Susie Q Design Studio These are beautiful rooms but very high end compared to the average household. Custom bedding, headboard, draperies, upholstery and wallpaper don't come cheap! If the homeowner did it all herself she may have been able to do it for a reasonable but sizable amount, but, she payed a seamstress. As soon as anyone pays another to do custom work, the checkbook is hit into the stratosphere. I guess budgets are all relative in the end.

nicholabell Undeniably beautiful rooms and a great idea for a grandma maybe, who wants the grandkids to feel welcome but not dedicate whole room to kids. For a kids room though...I think it should be 100% their sanctuary from all things grown up. If the girls love it though then thats all that matters and to be fair who can't love butterfly wallpaper !!!!!
